Participation in Fruit Logistica 2026 strengthens Giropoma’s international projection

Once again, Giropoma actively participated in Fruit Logistica 2026, the leading trade fair for the global fresh produce trade, held from February 4 to 6 in Berlin. An event that, for the 33rd time, has confirmed its role as a key meeting point for the international horticulture industry, connecting markets, innovations, and professionals from around the world.

In a context marked by transforming markets, changes in supply chains, and evolving business models, Fruit Logistica brought together trade visitors from over 150 nations and 2,600 exhibitors from approximately 90 countries. An ideal setting to strengthen business relationships, identify new opportunities, and analyze the main trends in the sector.

At the IGP Poma de Girona, booth, Giropoma presented its range of apples, emphasizing product quality, traceability, and a commitment to sustainable and efficient production. The presence at the fair has allowed the brand to consolidate its position in strategic international markets and strengthen Giropoma’s positioning as a producer committed to the future of the sector.

This year’s edition has highlighted the need to share knowledge and experiences in a time of global change. Factors such as climate change, rising production costs, market volatility, and evolving consumer habits make in-person exchange more relevant than ever.

Giropoma consolidates its international presence at the Fruit Logistica in Berlin

Last week, Giropoma actively participated in Fruit Logistica 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for the fresh produce sector, held from February 5 to 7 in Berlin. This reference event has gathered more than 91,000 professionals from 140 countries, as well as more than 2,770 exhibitors from all over the world, becoming a key meeting point for innovation, market trends and global business in the fruit and vegetable sector.

With its own stand, Giropoma had the opportunity to present its range of apples, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and innovation. Once again, participation in the fair was an opportunity to strengthen the brand’s presence in international markets, establish new business contacts and consolidate relationships with customers and distributors.

A space for innovation and networking

During these three days, the Giropoma stand became a meeting point for industry professionals, allowing them to share experiences and trends on the future of apple production and marketing. In addition, the fair offered networking spaces, conferences and presentations of new technologies, where topics such as the digitization of the sector, food safety and the impact of sustainability in agri-food production were addressed.

Fruit Logistica was also the ideal setting to explore new cultivation and post-harvest techniques, with the aim of continuing to guarantee top quality and environmentally friendly products. This approach is key for Giropoma, which is continuously working on the implementation of more efficient and sustainable processes to adapt to the demands of consumers and the market.

Giropoma participates in Fruit Logistica in Berlin, the world’s leading trade fair for the international fresh produce business

One more year, Giropoma has participated in the Fruit Logisitca 2023 Fair that took place from 8 to 10 February 2023 in Berlin. For more than 15 years the company has been present at the world’s leading trade fair for the international fresh produce business, an ideal opportunity to strengthen relationships with customers, share impressions and establish contact with key target groups at the decision-making level.

Fruit Logisitca is the main stage for the latest innovations and encompasses all areas of the fresh produce business, from logistics, machinery, technical systems, technology, among others. A fair that occupies more than 110,000 m² bringing together the entire spectrum of the fruit and vegetable sector under the motto “All in One”.

Giropoma’s space was located within the stand of the Protected Geographical Indication Poma de Girona, together with other companies that also take part, each of them with their own section. At the Giropoma stand, the fair attendees could find corporate information and a sample of the main formats marketed. The director, Àlex Creixell, and members of the Giropoma sales team were also present at the stand.

This successful edition brought together 2,600 exhibitors from 92 countries and more than 70,000 comparators and professional visitors from over 135 countries around the world, closing with very positive figures that indicate an increased interest in the sector.

This 2023, the fair has celebrated its 30th birthday, marked by innovation, and with high expectations for the next edition, which will take place from February 7 to 9, 2024.
